What Dzati measures — and what it deliberately doesn’t.

Dzati is built to give you the insight you need without hoovering up personal data. We measure traffic and behaviour, not individuals — unless you explicitly tell us who someone is.

What we collect

• Page views and the events you choose to send.
• Referrer, UTM tags, and an approximate location (country / region / city) derived from the request.
• Device basics — browser, OS and device type.

What we don't do

• No cross-site tracking. Dzati only ever sees activity on your own site.
• No selling or sharing of your visitors' data.
• No personal data in events — you should never put emails, names or card details into event *properties*. The one exception is identity you send on purpose via dzati.identify().

Your responsibilities

You're the data controller for your visitors. Make sure your privacy policy reflects that you use analytics, and only call dzati.identify() with identifiers you're allowed to process.
